Come join my Drake Transformation Chronicle world in this lore-friendly-but-still-non-canon custom picture! Become a drake yourself and scare this other drake shifter who’s cowering in confusion and fear in his human form!

- Must have some sort of character reference ready!- Any gender
- Human characters preferred (but not required)
- My standard commission usage rules apply.

Like, in terms of design? Drakes are pretty fuzzy, covered in fur and hide rather than scales. They don’t have spikes, horns, scutes, or armor. Basically, a giant lizard with some avian attributes.
In terms of backstory: there’s only a small handful of drake shifters in the world, mainly due to the rare dormant drake gene. Pretty much everyone who has it doesn’t know it or is in hiding. It’s an exceedingly rare chance — almost impossible, even — for two drake shifters to cross paths. Anyone in-universe can’t just up and decide that they’re going to turn into a big lizard-bird-dragon thing. (Well, they actually can, but nobody has the resources or time to do that in modern days).
