Loose copy of a real-world coati photograph. The picture originally ran in a Daily Mail piece about a couple that saw a coati in the wilds of Marlow, Buckinghamshire, England. which is admittedly a place one doesn't expect to see a coati. They had a couple photographs of the English coati, although what I'm copying here was a stock photo they used ( https://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/201.....3348764600.jpg ).
It's done in a more sketchy, pencil style because I liked how the pencil sketch, getting the shapes down, looked and wondered what if I just kept that instead of inking it into immobility? So I used a different simulated pencil to complete the picture. I liked it more when I did it, although that was hours ago, and I'm not sure I like it at all now. We'll see how I feel about it in the morning.
Also, goodness but don't coatis look wonderful sprawled out like that?
