it is a cool ship, but honestly, seeing it up close for the first time since i was a little kid, the paint scheme seems kinda... tooo shiny? i dunno, but it screams "i'm a big shiny ornament in the harbor for tourists to gawk at!" rather than "i'm a replica of the original Mayflower"
i may be too mush of a skeptic to enjoy things like this fully, but it's still cool and this is also one of the better photos i took that day.
