I saw that line and it immediately reminded me of something I heard about on a podcast... https://twitter.com/maki_itoh/statu.....93152667361282
Did you see the followup? https://twitter.com/maki_itoh/statu.....276786176?s=20 *giggles*
Wild stuff! I don't keep up with wrestling these days, I listen to Cornette's podcast that's about as much as I can handle anymore, I quit watching somewhere late 90's came back around 2012, and it's completely different, I can't get into it, and around the time cena/fiend occurred, I bailed again :P
I haven't kept up at all since, While I always knew it wasn't real, I could get emotionally invested in the program, things like the Randy Savage / Jake Roberts thing, etc, I dunno, it had that hint of believability even though you knew it was hokey, it kept me interested, now it's something completely different, just going through the motions and it's more about the acrobatics and cinematics and I'm just not into that. I think that's why I listen to the podcast, mostly to hear stories about the old days etc I don't much care for him reviewing the new stuff because while I generally agree, it's mostly just time wasted listening to an old man bellyache about something that won't come back.
