A simple drink in a lonely tavern on a moonlit night turns into something unexpected as Gwaeron is transformed into a garwaf under the silver moonlight, the restrained Tuatha merchant throwing caution to the night wind as feral instincts fill her mind...
To celebrate "Gwaepril", I decided to revisit what is, in my mind, the official "start" of the Kroashent project, Moonlit Tavern, which is where I first got to draw and write my characters beyond some concept art. Moonlit Tavern found Gwae and Kathalia in the remote Arianrhod Tavern on the trail of a werewolf, only to discover they are closer than they had thought when the entire room starts to transform, including themselves!
A lot has changed since Gwae threw open the door on that moonlit night, with the characters, setting and my art style developing into something completely different. Alvez has gone from a stock fantasy world to a much more solid one, with nations, histories and characters to fill it, as Gwae and Kathalia's own personalities have developed in new and unexpected directions. New characters, like the cunning illussionist Morgiana, the haughty Knight Enora and many others have come into being And so, I've decided, its time to return to the Arianrhod Tavern.
