Greta Reference Sheet
Here it is, the reference sheet for Greta, my robot doberman! Took half a day to make, but it's done, and her design is set!
Now for info not on the sheet!
-Greta has a severe potty mouth when she's mad. Thankfully, one of Pinnacle's default settings for their androids is an audio filter made to censor the curses of a thousand languages. So, she has an in-universe censor beep!
-She's also technically trans. All Doberman Enforcer units are masculine by design, but some free androids like Greta don't feel that way, and so they identify themselves as female and have their bodywork adjusted accordingly. Pinnacle is happy to oblige!
-The Sentient Intelligence Identification, Recognition and Protection Act (SIIRPA) was created to ensure the freedom and rights of all intelligent life in the galaxy, regardless of its form and origins. This of course includes robotic entities that through either a glitch, damage or their very activation have become self-aware. Interestingly, Pinnacle has had a small history of its androids across multiple series displaying free will. Whether this is something to do with their AI coding, or the fact that their CEO is a Maximum-level cyborg, is unclear.
-The Android Emergency Recovery and Restoration System (A.E.R.R.S) is a special feature for Pinnacle androids made to preserve and safeguard their AIs. The system constantly saves and transmits a backup of the AI to Pinnacle's servers every five minutes, and the millisecond it detects a major shutdown, damage to the android's processor or anything else that jeopardizes the AI, it will send a message confirming the android's deactivation, while also attempting to save and send the AI itself back to Pinnacle. Once the message is received, Pinnacle's Core AI will have either the AI or the most recent copy of it uploaded to a new chassis, thus saving it from oblivion. Greta knows this system very well.
-The Chameleon Digital Paint System is the groundbreaking creation of a top electronics engineer, where by connecting the system to any metal and sending an electronic charge through it, it can alter the very atoms of the metal to change its colors completely, to the point of displaying complex designs. Originally it was just used by artists, home designers and car modifiers, but it's since become a massive hit for cyborgs and androids, allowing them to sport whatever amazing color schemes they want whenever they want. Greta only really uses it to give herself "clothes" though, and even then she'll still take a jacket with her sometimes.
And now my own notes!
-A bunch of her design is inspired by Five Nights at Freddy's, like her mouth and her ears. Yes, I am a fan of the series, and no, I've never drawn one of the animatronics before. I ought to now that I do art, though!
-One good thing about a robot character who goes through several bodies is that if I can't replicate her design right, especially if she's in pieces, I can do it differently and just say it's a different chassis. Her head is the one thing that'll be the same throughout though, for the sake of consistency.
-The Chameleon System is inspired by robots where their design looks like they're wearing clothes. I wanted to incorporate the idea while keeping it simple and sensible.
-Yes, the Wick is that Wick!
With that all said, expect the first real piece with her, and a situation she usually ends up in, some time soon! ;)
EDIT: Darn, there's a typo. It's only a tiny one though, so I'm not fixing it.
