The room was dark, and dry. heat emmanated from every surface.The disciple stood and waited. He had been given the great honor, and duty of communicating with their god, and the only place to do that was in the volcano temple. He was nervous just as he was proud. The temperature began rising, his god approached. The wall in front of him began glowing red, and the heat from it was almost unbearable. the glow began to subside from some parts of the wall, flowing into two spots that began to glow bright white from the heat. The disciple could feel his skin cooking from the heat. There two spots exploded outward, molten stone soaring through the air. The melted stone fell to the ground around the disciple, forming the holy symbol of his god, the disciple was unharmed. from the two hole burst forth two points of light. Sparks rained down from them as the darted about the room. The disciple could barely breath in the heat. He bowed slightly, and his god spoke.
"greetings, my disciple. I know why you have come. I will make of you a holy messenger, and warrior to serve me, and your people. times of great trial will soon be here, for a war of the gods is inevitable, and your people must be ready."
The two points of light began swirling about the disciple, faster, and faster. The air in the room was now burning away his lungs. The two points of light turned sharply in their paths and flew into the gasping mouth of the disciple. The disciple burst with flames, his entire body engulfed. The body was burned away, and fueled the growing eternal fire, but the mind, and soul remained. The fire elemental stood up straight, and left to go tell his people the message of their god.
