playdate-at page 23- a comic about a small bunny trying to get n touch with her little side, and finding a mommy to do it!
Emily's babying-at part 5 page 2- a comic about a bratty cat getting a little tough love(and soft padding) to set her woeful ways straight!

I don’t know, it’s just with the whole secrecy of Softbottom and her class with students either not knowing about her or pretending to not know about her, the asylum/school her sister runs, the adults around town also wearing diapers.
Also I could be wrong but near the beginning of the comic Emily mentioned Rebecca having some mental development problem that her parents won’t take her to a doctor for. Now why is that? Why wouldn’t they want to find out what’s wrong with their daughter. Also during class she seemed pretty coherent and not showing too many signs of mental development problems but more like someone who has been in that class and subjected to the hypnosis, that’s been alluded to, for awhile.
There’s more going on here. There’s some behind closed doors, man behind the curtain, next level, higher than you think, kind of stuff going on.
Emily is just a small incidental part of it but it goes deeper.

They say Kharma is a... well... "Witch," and something tells me Emily's mom is going to have it coming soon, especially with all that overreacting. Plus, the joke's on her because Emily and her teacher had a deal, so that means there's nothing Emily's mom can do to revoke it.

mmm... you are not the only one but in a matter of speaking it makes sense to me.
From what i have read/seen younger kids seem to use the phone as a "security blanket" of sorts. So the loss of something so important to her identity (if you want to call it that) in addition to the disruption of her established routine might very well too much for her. this (in my view) could easily lead to her being more concerned about that little thing then everything else going on.
That little device is the last hook to her social life. Funnily enough, that little device allows her to for the briefest of moments reject the reality she doesn't want to see and possibly project her desired image to the people she calls friend.
or at least that is how i see it anyway.

Feedback: the story was a little hard to follow on this page, it's not too clear in which order the speech balloons should be read. I'd recommend not putting characters between speech balloons that are meant to be read in sequence, it's not very intuitive to read speech balloons that are not close to each other.
