‘Uhh,… uhn,… almost,… stupid,… vine,… almost,…’
“I could have sworn that vine would have been long enough when I aimed at it,… even if I sank deeper,… but I guess not,… and it certainly isn’t getting any closer,… this could be a problem,…”
‘Stupid vine,… stupid quicksand,… uhn,… always,… Something,… around here,…’

The series continues with the seventh gorgeous image from the incredible

Such a great sense of straining as she streeeetches up to try to reach the vine she cut down, but it coming up just a tiny bit short,… something her sinking deeper into the quicksand is certainly not helping her with. From the position of her raised arm, and how it raises her shoulder and chest and even the curl of hair behind it, to her furrowed brows and gritted teeth, you really get a great feel of her struggling to reach up and grab that vine, as well as a sense of frustration in her expression in that she can’t seem to reach it. I love how her one bang squishes against her raised arm and curls around it, it really gives a good sense of the softness of her hair, further accented by the length of her hair floating and spreading on the surface behind her. And of course, it is certainly hard to overlook her beautifully done chest as it bobs atop the quicksand, with a great sense of weight, buoyancy and softness as well,… a chest deep shot is a beautiful thing in quicksand artwork, as taught to us by the great Pete Boggs, and this one is gorgeously done. The shine and shading are just wonderfully done, especially the shine on her hair and armband, and that subtle shine off of her chest,… I also like how the one curl of red tipped hair on her left doesn’t have shine on it, cause her raised arm shadows it slightly, very thoughtfully done. The quicksand itself looks brilliant, so thick and gooey, as it mounds up around the right side of her chest, and sticks tenaciously to the left as it raises up from the surface, with those wonderfully thick bubbles providing a great accent.
Another wonderful addition to this outstanding series.
Stay tuned and see what happens next.
