"One of the two Elements of The Sphere of Order, the Element of Frost is one that follows certain laws and rules, much like its sibling, Arcane. By gaining an understanding of these laws, we mages can learn how to apply it towards spellcasting, using Elemental Energy to invoke these rules that the universe must follow, if only for a moment. Unlike Arcane, whose laws revolve around the nature of Reality, the laws of Frost revolves around the nature of Cold.

"As a result, spells relating to this Element usually appear as ice, which can be used offensively in the form of spears or bolts of pure frost, or defensively, in the form of physical barriers that stop both sword and spell. With enough practice, one might be able to apply it in other forms, such as using it to cool the air around oneself for comfort in warmer areas. However, unlike what some might suggest, using Frost Magic to conjure snowfall is, sadly, nearly impossible. For such magic, one would have to gain an understanding of the chaotic nature of Air instead for a better result, as it grants the caster greater control over the weather.

This is another commission I've decided to transfer from my old account, this time displaying a pattern revolving around snow and ice. As for the runes, they are translated below according to my own understanding:

North: Hagalaz - Hail
South: Laguz - Water
East: Pertho - Secrets
West: Isaz - Ice

Though the runes displayed are not what I would refer to as "official", they do make wonderful placeholders, especially when considering their translations.
