It was a beautiful day outside. You went out camping near a lake for a vacation, and you decided to take a stroll along the perimeter of this lake, which on one side had a beach and a dock, and the other side was lined with small rocks and trees.
While taking in the fresh air, you noticed something that was slightly buried in the ground. It was rectangular, a little thick, and also colored off white. Walking closer and kneeling down, you figured out what it was after brushing the specks of dirt off it.
It was an iPod! Wow, remember these? Kids these days don’t even know what this thing is. It was actually functional as well. You managed to turn it on and moved your finger around the circle pad, which corresponded to the different songs appearing on the screen. Nearby, you actually saw some old earbuds as well. Not wasting any time, you reached down and picked them up, plugging them into the device.
As you scrolled through the albums, your face went from enthusiastic to curious. What kind of albums were these? You’ve never heard of any of these before. Albums like Heavy Meerkat, Fox and Roll, Hip Hop (Bunny Version), Pop (for Weasels), and so on.
You shrugged as you circled your finger around the pad. One of the albums actually piqued your interest. Otter Tunes (not Autotuned). You rolled your eyes a bit at the bad pun, but you selected it nonetheless.
Sticking the earbuds in your ears, you pressed play on the iPod. Music started to play and you had to admit, this was kind of a bop! You began to nod your head to the beat. It was a pretty fast paced song, and the melody seemed to noodle its way around happily. You smiled and began to dance a little bit, uncaring that you were out in the open. Who cares? You were having the time of your life bopping your head to the beat and loving these otter tunes! You just wondered, why were they called Otter Tunes?
You kicked off your shoes to really get into the music. With the sun setting behind you, it cast a beautiful orange light that shimmered off the water. You were so engrossed in the music, you hardly noticed the bulging in the back of your pants.
You were barely snapped out of your dance as the dull pain at the base of your spine grew. Instead, you just kept dancing and twirling. You bent down a little bit, to counteract the growth from behind, when there was a loud rip from the back of your pants.
You looked behind you, wondering what happened when you felt the pain vanish. From behind you, there was a brown furred and thick tail dangling behind you, wagging in time to the beat.
That’s when you noticed your hands. They were also turning furry and brown, with a thin webbing developing between your fingers. They were perfect for swimming. Your fingers were also getting adorned with black claws, and you were careful not to scratch the iPod. Your pinky was the one finger that didn’t change. Instead, it got absorbed and merged with your ring finger, leaving you with just four on each hand.
And your face started getting farther away from you. Your nose was taken along for the ride as your face pushed out, and your nose turned triangular and black. Long whiskers emerged from your face, tickling your bare skin. Your ears are changed, taking the earbuds along with them.
You started to lose your balance, falling on all fours. Your clothes draped over you as you shrunk down, the earbuds even coming off and the iPod falling to the ground as your hands lost their dexterity. But it’s okay, you still had the song in your head!
The rest of your hair fell off as you were now left as a brown furry otter, with lighter brown fur covering your underside. You chirped and squeaked happily as you continued to bop and dance to the music, eventually making your way closer to the water’s edge of the lake.
Looking up, you heard some more squeaking! Other otters were calling out to you, waving at you to jump into the water to join them in playing!
Without hesitating, you dove right into the watery depths, finding that your webbed hands and feet made for exceptional swimming gear as your noodly body was sleek through the water. You squeaked happily as you swam up to your new friends. This was going to be an exciting vacation for you!

Okay, so it was supposed to be a pun on Autotune but I don't think it came across that way.
