Hello, Endymion! It's not rude at all! If I were spending money, I would expect to know what I was getting and when I was getting it! There is nothing more frustrating than paying someone for something and being left to float in the dark for months. Super unprofessional.
As a general rule, I try to get commissions wrapped-up and delivered within about 30 days. Because summer is my busiest time, I may be closer to about 40 days right now. But my queue will NEVER be light because I keep is stocked as full as possible since this is my only income.
