Very few would ever truly know the terror that is a giant chasing after you. The loud thuds in both your ears and legs as each of its footfalls quake the entire ground. Each stomp sounded and felt like an explosion happing just nearby. In my rush to try and get closer for a good shot, I had gotten way too far from my little hiding area. Dropping my launcher, I ran as fast as I ever did. My eyes barely got to register my bag before several fleshy giant fingers came into view. I could barely let out a scream before they wrapped around me. Turns out giants are just a wee bit faster. Hell, if it was any bigger, I assume it snatching me up like that would have crushed me. Even now it knocked the wind out of me. The fleshy hand around my body was near overbearing while the air whipped past my face as it lifted me far from the ground. Did you know being picked up like that felt like falling, but upwards? Same terror, just in a different direction. But this time you couldn't just wake up from the nightmare.
Within split moments I was locked in the giant's balled hand. Fleshy and skin covered just like a regular mouse... Despite it being a million times more terrifying. It at least gave a resemblance to the cute little guys. I thought for a moment that maybe this was my old pet mouse, come back as a giant to torture me for not giving it enough scratches. I'll still never forget those god damn piercing red eyes... While its visor did kinda blur the coloration, they still bore into me as easily as a hot knife through butter. I had no idea what it was going to do. While it was an alien it seemed to at least have features resembling a face that could betray emotions. Like a dog with its eyebrows, I could tell it was confused, or angry beyond belief. I mean I did somewhat, maybe, kinda fire a highly explosive projectile at it. But what did this monster plan for me? Crush me in its fist? Rip me limb from limb? I know it's a mouse, but the prospect of being eaten sent a shiver down my spine. The air was stagnant now as the giant stared me down.
Anger? Fear? I couldn't tell what it was thinking, but I knew I was just moments away from a reasonably brutal death. That was when it's composition changed... Seeming almost shocked or concerned? It's grip slackened around me ever so slightly, granting me finally to take in a breath I had been incapable of until now. It was such a ridiculous idea. But I figure being dropped from this height would kill me and that would be better than being mouse food. With its grip no longer a damn near stranglehold I was able to slip my knife from its holster. Small knife, probably blunt because I barely took care of the damn thing. I wasn't exactly expecting to need to use something like this against a behemoth. Was I already dead? It doesn't matter, I'll go out with a damn fight.
Examining the hand around me for a moment I fidgetted in its grasp. Oddly the creature gave way its grip just slightly more as if to give me breathing room? Looking back up to those eyes, those damn red eyes... Nowhere near as frightening as the lizards ordinarily. But now each resembled that of a gate to hell itself. It solely occurred to me then it looked now terrified, suddenly its eyes flung around as if to find a place to be alone when it tormented me. That was when I stabbed my blade directly into the back of its ring finger. I wondered if it even hurt at all. I mean, it was the damn equivalent of a paper cut but those suckers hurt sometimes. Nonetheless, it flinched from the sudden pain and practically drove its hand into a nearby building. Thankfully the glass was already broken, so I didn't get fucking crushed on impact. Yet then the thing did something I hadn't expected. It let me go.

So, judging from how Warren described Alice's expressions and actions, at first she was really angry at him for trying to shoot her, then she became shocked upon realizing that she was about to kill an intelligent and fragile being who only did what he did because he was understandably afraid and probably didn't know that she was on his side. Alice was also concerned with Warren because she realized that she may have crushed some of his bones while she was angry. Upon realizing what she was easily capable of doing to a human, Alice became terrified of herself. And then Alice started looking for a place where she could be alone with the human to explain that she and the other aliens who aren't Rynar are on humanity's side and to say that she was really sorry for what she almost did. Did I get all that right?
This is looking like it's going to be fun. ^^ Although I hope you do a few bits from Alice's perspective too, since lets face it. She's had a ROTTEN day and landed in a really weird situation now. Getting anything across to the confused and scared local is gonna be a challenge.
Although it's a neat touch that you threw in about him having had a pet mouse. it wouldn't be hard to use that as context for him to get some idea of where she's coming from later. Even if he won't know the specific details for a while for obvious reasons, since if Tordenchi language is like the others, it'll sound like she's squeaking at him to him. ^^ At least unless he picks some of the meaning, if he can.

They do get a 'Form' of communication later on. Although his alien language is so weird to her, and her squeaks are so odd to him, that mostly it's hand gestures and motions.
Might do some things from Alice's perspective, but for now 'Of Mice And Men' is all from Warren's. Might fix this at some point, however. One person did say that perhaps two separate storylines, working with the same images, might do good to show both perspectives

That would help clear a lot up, Right now, the audience only knows Warren's side of things. Alice is pretty unknown aside from what Warren's seen, which isn't much. And I haven't seen much written with tordenchi yet, so there's a bit more to think about there if they're actually that uncommon.
As for them gesturing to each other, that should get interesting too. Besides, to be honest, Part of what I'd end up hoping to see is how they'd warm up to each other. Like probably most fans of the series, I'm a sap for gentle or, possibly in this case, heroic macros.
