Heh I really wanted something mage-like but evil-ish.

TLDR; I like this character a lot and the pic looks great, especially her magical feet/toes.

This is awesome. I like all of this. She has a nice design and the background looks very good as well. And I like her name. Geckromancer is such a good title for her and it's witty and fun.
I also like her quirky personality. An evil necromancer who doesn't want to be too mean or rude is kinda cute. What about holidays, thought? Attacking people on christmas or new years eve seems rather rude, too.
I also like how she casts magic with her toes. It looks cool and really draws attention to her lovely feet. It also seems rather useful for using her spells in secret. Perfect for just talking a stroll through an area while her magical feet raise an army of undead while nobody suspects a thing.
Does she have mortal minios/servants to pamper and worship her feet? If not, I'll volunteer XD

Aww geez you're great hun. I admit I may have falling in love with the idea more just because Necromancer was my fave Diablo 2 class and I miss my bone-boy horde. Besides, selective evil-ness is key to being a good villain, probably!

Though now I'm thinking of footsteps leaving prints that raise skeletons in her wake.

To be fair, most people don't like having their family members or friends turned into zombies or skeletons. And there most likely is some sort of religious believes that necromancy is unnatural and bad. So even a good necromancer will be having a hard time.

As for Selirah:
How about capturing her and tickling those cute feet to punish her for those evil deeds and teach her a lesson? ;)

ah ha! thus we see the stigma my job entails! :P its a bit like a doctor being referred to as a murderer. the job of a necromancer isn't to enslave and abuse the souls, its to usher them onto the next life, what ever that may be. unfortunately, lost souls tend to be uh... gullible? thus people who find themselfs is spots of necromancy tend to find it too uh... alureing, to use them for various deeds.

having experimented with simply giving a soul a body to animate into, it can go south very quick when they enter a full state of panic...

hrm captureing a necromancer would be challenging.... not impossible tho... hrm...

Isn't sending souls to the afterlife the job of priests and clerics and the like?
Dying and being resurrected does sound very traumatic and confusing.
By the way, what is the difference between lost souls and ghosts?

pffsh, priests and clerics are there to give the idea of the afterlife in the first place. they help the living prepare for when they die, so they know what to do... since most necromancers tend to half arse there jobs. XD

if you unprepared for it, yes. especially when we aint talking full regeneration... quite a shock to see you moveing bone around instead of flesh.

as for ghosts and lost souls? very little! ghosts tend to be more... potent in there manifestation, often becomeing poltergeists, wraiths and so on depending on there mood in death. emotional state can flux what a ghost/lost soul becomes. lost souls however, tend to not turn into ghosts in the first place cos they are.... lost. they are stuck in limbo but dont know it. whilst a ghost knows and is termoil.

She's a looker for sure and I really like her eyes. Nice work.

The background while simplistic really sets the mood a lot for the pic, and the lighting with that illuminated window and the little glow of the skeletons all looks super nice, even if a mans about to be murdered.
That stone pillar at her back looks really nice and I like the stones under her with the little bits of grass poking out.

But GOSH the star of the pic, obviously is this wonderfully designed woman~ I love her clothing design and the cloak is very nice. I like the design on it a lot and it really compliments her color. The exposed stomach looks quite cute and that big tail looks quite soft and I honestly wanna touch it heheh. But damn the look of her feet and hands are just so appealing! I love the bigger fingers and toes on her. I'm assuming they are a part of her lizard anatomy and judging by her toes she can probably climb up walls I'd imagine. It's quite an interesting choice I'm surprised I haven't seen more of! That and both feet seriously look so damn alluring~<3
Their shape, the color difference between the tops and her soles just make them even better and the little nails with and the way you have the tops of her toes bent as they press against the ground makes the anatomy of her foot really interesting as well! And I love that she can cast magic with said toes~! I mean I found them magical as it was, but I guess in this case it's absolutely true~

Even more I love the way her face looks. The dots on top of her head are neat and the smile with those sharp blue eyes especially are great! Seriously, the multiple shades of blue on her sharp eyes is seriously great!

Just over all it's all super great! And I really really hope we get to see more and more of her in the future!

One beat trick I see her doing is using her feet to sway people into doing things for her if she doesn't wanna commit to bones

That's one badass character with a badass bio. Also nice touch on the details and using her feet to cast spells as though she were an actual Gecko, who use all their limbs like hands. She kinda reminds me of a Moonblood from Dust an Elysian Tail, but her legs are humanoid, which is much easier to draw than animal legs ^^
