It's been a very long time since I'd submitted a lettered Sudoku puzzle of my own, here in "Fur Affinity". If any of you are still into this unique type of enigma, print out a copy of the grid and artwork, grab a pencil or pen, and have at it...
This time, I call my creation "Pixar-Doku", a combination Sudoku and trivia quiz, pertaining to Disney-Pixar CGI feature-length movies. Just the other day, I got to see their newest animated adventure, "Onward" (2020) - a fantasy about mythical people (elves, satyrs, et al) and animals (unicorns, centaurs, etc.) in a modern-day setting.
Instead of numbers in the grid, there are nine letters - A, C, E, I, M, N, O, R, and T. Fill in the empty spaces of said grid, so that each row, column, and 3x3 cell contains all nine letters, without repeating. All nine letters will spell out a pair of one-word answers to two separate Trivia Clues - each one of which appears in a row or column.
Trivia Clue I: The character below the grid is a mythical creature - part-lion, part-scorpion, and more - who appears in the film (and is voiced by Octavia Spencer).
Trivia Clue II: Because this character can also breathe fire, she might be able to serve this function at a funeral home (although I'd prefer her gig at a family restaurant).
Special Tip: If you know the answer to either Trivia Clue (or both) and where they belong, filling in the spaces first might help you solve the rest of the Grid Puzzle, much sooner...
And finally, don't be a 'buzzkill' by posting either answer in the 'Comments' section. I'd like everyone to solve my lettered Sudoku on their own... "Good Luck!"
