Over the years, I had attended many conventions - comic book/sci-fi/fantasy, furry, etc. - and among the events I had participated in were "Artist Jams" (where many an artist and anthroartist contributed his/her character(s) in a specific 'theme' of said jam).
I, myself, had organized a couple of "Artists Jams" in the past. A simple example was "Megaplex '09 Artist Jam" - www.furaffinity.net/view/4285487/ - with some anthroartists joining in this one-panel offering, with "Christmas in July" as its 'theme'.
Recently, I had rediscovered (in my cluttered condo) another, much larger, "Artist Jam" I had organized, back on the weekend of March 8-9, 2008, during the sci-fi/fantasy convention known as "MegaCon" - held in Orlando, FL - with the "2008 US Recession" as its 'theme'. Here's a list of its contributors: Panel I (left to right): Yours truly, D. ("Dandy & Company") Fish, Mike ("Cleopatra in Space") Maihack, Shawn ("Bubba, the Redneck Werewolf") Surface; Panel II (left to right): Art ("Patrick the Wolf Boy") Baltazar, Jason Peltz (inked by me), El ("X-tra Spicy Tails") Funimal, and Mary ("Here Comes A Candle") Hanson-Roberts.
One day, I hope to return to one of these conventions, and organize an all-new "Artist Jam" - consisting of a brand-new 'theme', with submissions from other artists and anthroartists...
