The red sandstone castle that stands right near the great forest of Valmeridia is an almost obligatory stop for travelers who visit Prince Borgon's princedom.
The residence of the sovereign is therefore open to visitors day and night, in order to allow them to visit the large garden hidden behind the high walls.
However, sometimes it happens that some guest is not driven by innocent ambitions, but has another purpose.
It's the case of that night. About to go to bed, the dragon prince hears strange noises coming from the corridors of the castle, and spots a dark shadow in one of the rooms, in the process of "borrowing" some silverware.
The scoundrel is caught in the act, and proves to be Skaarly the kobold, a creature, he says, very dangerous.
However, the prince shows himself rather polite, and invites the unexpected guest to tidy up what has been taken, in exchange for a hot meal and a place to spend the night.
Despite his threats and attempts to appear frightening and fearsome, Skaarly seems to accept the invitation willingly.
He will probably think that that dragon is a little crazy to offer shelter and refreshment to the one who was about to rob him.
From his, the prince will have plenty of time to get to know the kobold better, which, although presenting himself as a cruel evil lord, actually seems to hide a much brighter soul behind his face marked by scars of past battles...
