In every negative, there is a positive...Look at Burt and Ernie.
Hi everyone Merry-what-ever-holiday-you-celebrate!
Hope you've spent it nicely. I certainly did with my mom.
[SERIOUS NOTE]
It was a year from today that I posted my previous Christmas image as well, Talk about DeJaVu (As usual, I'm late to the party and I apologize for that).
It was there that I gave a little update regarding my mom and I's precarious situation. And a lot of you were both concerned and a bit perturb since the image was comical, but the personal story was dark.
Well unlike last year, I can assure you that things are better. No I don't usually like to speak about my personal life, but I thought you all deserve to know.
2017-2018 was the worst years for my mother and I. And although this 2019 had it's bumps... Such as being evicted by our own family and forced to move in a rush. Then moved into a rental house with poor conditions (like water shortage and noise pollution). Then went into a legal battle with our own family. And later my mom got into a severe injury which required stitching (she's fine now, Thank God). And even now the house we bought was taken back by the seller leaving us with little to no options for a replacement (adding a law suit in the mix of that after the seller refuse to return our payment). Added to that, our lease for our current rental house expires next month, and we wont have the funds to renew...
So a lot has happened this year, but at the same time this yeas has been an improvement. In spite of numerous negative things we've encountered, there has been so many good things as well. And I thank God incredibly for all them, big and small. I'm grateful to still be with my mom and that for the most part we still have our health and safety. I'm grateful to have a roof over our head, and the enjoyment of some wealth, comforts and commodities. I'm grateful to still be able to do my work, and to have people in our lives to help us and support us in our times of needs. These are the many gifts we were so fortunate to receive.
So to all of you who asked about my current situation, thank you for your concerns. I appreciate your kindness.
Which I have to talk about, because in the last year, I've heard such grave stories from you, from my own friends. There are people right now who's parents are gravely ill, and who have passed. People who are ill themselves. People who're living in terrible conditions of heat and drought. People living with food stamps and financial problems...
And it breaks my heart to hear their stories, especially that these are people I know and care for. And it hits close to home because I've been in those positions before, and fear it happening still.
So my point being, we can't help complain about big or small things many times, but sometimes we gotta stop and realize how fortunate we still are. It's a matter of perspective. We just gotta be mindful and grateful for what we have, big or small. A family, friends, a home, shit even running water is a blessing.
So even if things are difficult, look at the positive side. Find that positive side, MAKE that positive side. There's always something to look forward to, even in the darkest hours.
If you're struggling, hang in there, survive, and carry on. You're not alone in that struggle, we're all carrying our own weight. And just know that things can get better, you just gotta keep going and have faith.
But I digress, on a personal note, I want to apologize for my inactivity online. I've been incredibly slow and silent to many of you. I'm sorry for my lack of comments or recognition, it's not my intention to neglect any of you. I'm struggle with my own management (mentally and physically), and it has affected you all. And for that I'm sorry. If I've neglected you or disappointed you...if I've hurt you direct or indirectly, I am sorry.
But, to many of you who have given such amazing support and love, I thank you. You all are one of the great gifts I continue to receive. I am just grateful that many of you who are still here, to talk to, to laugh with, to share stories and memories. Your comments, faves, watches and art are fantastic. But it's your kindness, your friendship that matters the most. So thank you all (you know who you are).
You are all awesome, stay awesome! And keep up the fine work, as Ewan Mcgregor said in "Doctor Sleep": Keep on shining...
So here's to a safe, stable and satisfying new year! I wish you all the best this coming year.
Congratulations to all of you for surviving 2019, now let's carry on and survive 2020. Let's hope it's a better one, for all of us. I hope things get better for you.
Take care, regards and God bless you all.

I wish you nothing but the best and continue to create the amazing art that you do, I'm glad you are taking it day by day, I do hope things continue to get better in the upcoming year, I know how much it means to have someone there when you are down, I've seen too many friends this year feel reaching out in a time of need would be seen as burdensome to others and I hope you never feel that way, best of luck in 2020 and keep pressing on.
That's what happens when you play Santa. Now go and have some growth fun with your wifey~! >w<
On a serious note, i'm really sorry that life was giving you hell Sam. If you want , we can spend some time talking together about anything. 2 months ago i lost my childhood dog named buster. He was 15 when he had to be put down. But all of us had to be strong and not remember the negatives, but the positives as well. So this was pretty awful with other problems with my family, but i'm praying it gets better next year.
Now do me a favour and stay beautiful for me will ya? \.w./

YOur humor is always a smile bringer, as is your artwork and just seem like a pleasant chap to know and have enjoyed follow.
To you I hope nothing but the best for the new year and that this images message sticks with you as well. Life's like a swing, so I hope yours is on the upwards rise now.

Judy is stacked and Nick is kid goo'd up. Yeah, that works. Good think we can't detect the odor of urine soaked pants from lack of bladder control kitletts.
On the BS you and your mom are going through, heres hoping that 2020 gets things heading towards a more positive aspect.

Glad things are going better for you now! I hope they will continue to improve for you and your mother.
And I'm certain most of us feel the same way, in that you do not have to apologize for not posting as much during all this.
Life loves to throw curveballs at you, and you and your family's safety and wellbeing will always come first.
So here's hoping that you have a wonderful 2020!
Also, excellent work on the Christmas pic! It's delightful

Dude, honestly, I've been a silent supporter of yours' for years now. I never actually thought you were in any sort of trouble (mostly because I'm seriously fucking oblivious), but... I feel you on having bad situations. Only recently has my life seriously started to come together and I'm happy for what lies ahead in 2020. But I'd be remiss to just dismiss what negative things in life happened and, in that same breath, the positives that came from such negativity and the pushes it gave to me to do better.
I wish you nothing but the best, my dude. You deserve so much better and I know better is coming. Bless you, Samuel, and may the new year bring you great fortune, my friend.

Like I said on DA buddy, I just wanna Huggle you so much from all the hardships you and your mum faced. If I could man, I’d get on the next plane and do so at the airport. I’d run over to you and hug you so hard, you’d be trying to pry me off!
Anyways, before I sound too weird, I hope things get a lot better for you guys, and I pray to God that there is a light for you guys at the end of the tunnel.
You guys have a very happy 2020 and we’ll see what the future holds in store.
Keep being awesome, my brother.
