Chirp is a an extremely loving and caring dinosaur. She has the instincts of a mother and cannot sit by and let a child, no matter the species, be harmed or left on their own. She loves all children and young creatures alike and will gladly protect them, even if her stomach is the only option.

When it comes to humans, she absolutely loves them. The only kind of humans that she doesn’t like are liars and those that try to hurt young ones.

Her adopted son is an 18 year old human boy whom she rescued from a Utahraptor. She takes excellent care of him and rarely takes her eyes off him. Some could say she is overprotective, but her strict directions are just her instincts and love for keeping children safe.

She is best friends with Kelsie the Daspletosaurus, who also loves children, but unlike Chirp, she tries to return lost children to their parents unless certain cirumstances don't allow that to happen.

If Chirp is taking care of a child for Kelsie, she can be a bit obsessive and want to make the child her own. But Kelsie always tells her that it was better to let the child be with their parents if they are located, and Chirp knows her friend is right and sends the children off, usually with a tear or two.
