You may be familiar with his characters, Nathaniel, who you may recognise from the recent story The Interloper (with associated picture, Domination) and Tasha, who you may recognise from the Halloween stories of the last two years, That Face and The Burning Woods.

...But, did you know that the two were related?
Yet another sad little coincidence in a multiverse prone to tragedy, it just so happens that Tasha's Mother, Evelyn, was Nate's own daughter. And yet, for all his power and awareness as a Gatekeeper, his fractured relationship and blocked awareness meant he couldn't be there for her when she really needed him.
And didn't even know that there was something left of her family.
Such a shame...
