I loved the pacing and the dialogue, the art was amazing, and I loved the story. A few times my heart ached for Malcolm and Jessie.

I can't wait to see more off the game, and play it more

That it's making people feel feelies is a greater compliment than we could have ever hoped for <3

This is it! This is what I want more then anything. A tf story with heart with real characters and real consequences. I like tf as a kink, but I love the human element reacting to it so much more. This is perfect. I teared up. I fucking teared up! I long for the full game because I know it will be a Rollercoaster of emotions and I look forward to helping Malcolm get as many happy endings with as many romances options as possible, because Malcolm is who'd I'd want to be in this situation. The support, the one who offers the transformees an anchor during this ludicrous, frightening, and yet exhilarating event.

I can't wait for the full story and next story like it. Maybe I'll get lucky and help develop one one day, but until then this has my full support!

I download and try to open the pc version with peazip but can't figure out how to get it to play. All I get are lots and lots of files. Can you point out what I need to do to try your game out, please?

If you get a ton of files, you probably might've opened up the .exe itself.

I found two of the files that were exe. files but was afraid to click on them. Do you suppose those were the ones to play the game?

What would you suggest doing with just the download for pc to get it to play?

I would if that was what I got when trying to open it. But I get maybe 100 or more of what I would call 'internal' files. I'm using peazip. What did you use to get that array?

I've never heard of peazip, I used 7zip and it unzips into a folder called "Changeling Tale Demo" or something like that, then you just run the changelingtaledemo.exe

Thanks! I've seen 7zip folders before and opened them but with peazip. I finally got to watch the demo....somehow and really enjoyed it!! You people did beautiful work there and I'm looking forward to more! :) I'll look into 7zip though, since I've seen others who use it to make zip files.

Awesome job. There's one bug though and I don't know if I'm the first one mentioning it. The music slider doesn't work.

If you were adjusting at at the menu screen, I don't thinkt he menu screen is classified as music for some reason (which is also a bug)

Thanks! To what Wat said, the only way I was able to get the music to play through the moving camera into the menu screen was by classifying it as "audio" instead of "music" XD I'll rework the title screen to see if we can avoid that issue for the next update!

It'll be a paid game when the full version is released (backers will get it for free depending on a few things)

no specific price, but I imagine it'll be competitive with other visual novels in the $15-25 (us) range.

Awesome work. First try was sad not seeing her again, but did it again with different answer to 2 questions and got the happily ever after ending. Not quite sure how the answers related to the two different endings (other than the completely random butterfly effect) but good none the less.
Also admit I went thru the program files to look at the raw images and see I either missed a cowgirl branch-off or that is for another story or demo future stuff.

Haha, yeah, those sprites are for some parts that haven't been released yet- we left them in as a little bonus for intrepid game file explorers ;) Glad you had fun with it and found them, too!

sorta like Major/Minor?

It's a visual novel, lots of sprites and graphics and scenes, but the gameplay is minimal and there is also a lot of text.

(Yeah, sort of like Major/Minor, from the look of it!)

so far a great story though is a bit sad at the end of demo beautiful art

Okay. I'm just a fan of (for escapism sake, not in reality of course) the whole 'let's TF and brainwash all the characters' as a goal.

I wish you hadn't used words "men like", since it's clear the old veteran is no blood thirsty killer, he's protecting his town from what from all the logical information that HE'S GIVEN, that a dangerous animal is on the loose and takes the most pragmatic means of protecting his home.

If it was common knowledge that some people change into odd things at a certain time of the month, people would be less eager to shoot someone changed into an odd thing at a certain time of the month.

And you think a bullet would be a MAJOR concern, Balgair is a veteran, he KNOWS that being shot is no joke, in particular in the day and age this story takes place when even minor infections could be deadly. So a guy just going around after being shot would be freaky.
