Continuing my final "Throwback Thursday" presentation for May, 2016 (my latest 'sweeps month'), here is the third in a series of four 'photo-ops', taken by my good friend and fellow "FA" contributor
Funimal...
When we last left off - on that same Friday, May 20th - Funimal and I were walking around Disney Springs (formerly Downtown Disney) in Lake Buena Vista, Florida - joined by illustrator/writer Mary Hanson-Roberts - as we checked out the various venues (old and new). We were just passing by the Lego Store (with gigantic statues of dragons, sea serpents, and several Disney characters - all made out of the plastic snap-on bricks), when Funimal spotted something that had brightened my day...
(Earlier on, I was checking out some of the shops selling Disney memorabilia, in the hope that I would find some rare "Zootopia" wares that never turned up at participating Disney Stores and Super Target Stores in south Florida - only to learn that all that merchandise [and additional wares promoting "The Jungle Book"] were all taken off the shelves, to make room for wares hyping the next animated feature from Disney-Pixar, "Finding Dory". So, you can understand the 'deep funk' I was in, later that day.)
After the Lego Store, there was a sign promoting "Zootopia" ('Where anyone can be anything') and a nearby multiplex cinema in Disney Springs where it was (still) playing! And next to the sign were two life-like statues of the CGI film's main characters 'Nick Wilde' (the fox) and 'Judy Hopps' (the rabbit). Funimal just had to take his tablet and take a few snapshots of the pair - from various angles. In this case, it's a side view of the duo...
I'll be saving the best for last, as the final 'photo-op' will be a front view of 'Nick' and 'Judy', coming up momentarily.
