SURGE of watchers since FA's return: what's going on?

Hey guys,
I amassed 100+ watchers in the last few days, barely a week. Did the attack wipe out some people's watch lists? Because I haven't posted anything big recently, and to my knowledge, no big commission of mine has been submitted either.
Any idea?
