First, I am a lousy hack artist. I can manage but a ten year old does better. Second, I was recently asked if I would sell one of the art pieces I have posted, the answer to that was "Sure, $2,894,731.23" Obviously the interested party backed out real quick. I commission art for my and my families appreciation, I NEVER sell the art I have purchased. I sometimes post it as others may enjoy it or not as they see fit.

No I do not like Impressionist, Cubism, abstract, Expressionism, POP or modern art. IMHO that isn't art. Yes I do find some AI art enjoyable to view but you will never see me spending $50 - $150 on an AI image as I do with traditional art. There is a limit, in my case somewhere around $8 for AI art. If I even suspect that it used an artist I know as a 'training device' the answer is always no. Period!

I am a writer, I use art as the seed for some stories, something that I can glance at and it triggers my imagination. I've oil paints from the 1970's that I purchased in the Philippines for $30 (in one case a door to door vacuum salesman appraised a sailing ship painting as 'Several thousand dollars') while I paid $35 to Benny S. Benevedo for it, and images from you people that I have shelled out as much as $150 for, I support artists, not programmers. You can raise your prices beyond what my SS payments can afford, as of today that is around $100. In that case I bow out and wish you a long and successful career, never to bother you again about that.

So please stop blocking me because I happen to like an AI image as one artist did "I just found out that you like AI art so I'm blocking you", all you are doing is hurting yourself, losing a fan and possible commission, I'll just move on. After all, I'm 74 in July, I've no longer the time to play those games.
