Hello everyone.
I wanted to share some sad news — two of the former stray cats I had been caring for have passed away.

On March 24th, Barsik passed away. I rescued him in early January, but unfortunately, he had chronic kidney disease, which progressed to its final stage.

On April 5th, my very first rescue, Spratty, also passed. He was a wonderful boy. I had been taking care of his health for a year and was actively looking for a loving home for him. Sadly, he needed a complicated surgery, and he didn’t make it through the post-operative period.

Right now, I’m still in shock from everything that’s happened. Spratty’s death hit me especially hard. I’m not stopping my rescue work, but I may need to slow down for a bit, and I might not be able to respond to messages right away.
