Why, hello there. I'm Jolene, FA's resident blueberry flavored Twi'lek.

If you've stumbled upon my page, you must have found something you enjoy. My work centers mostly around Star Wars, comics, fantasy, and sci-fi in general. Most of my images are pinup styled, little background and single characters.

I looove comments. You are more than welcome to comment on anything in my gallery or on my shout page, I try to make a habit of responding to all comments, with the exception of emote-only comments, there's nothing to respond to. I don't mind some criticism as long as it's civil and thought out.

Wait, what is a Twi'lek?
A Twi'lek is an alien species from Star Wars. Twi'leks are known for their different skin pigments and bouncy head tails known as Lekku. The name is literal, Twi = twice or two and Lek = Lekku or tails. Twi'lek = Two tails. Their tails are an erogenous zone and are sensitive like other tender parts of the body. They can be caused great harm and even brain damage as they are an extension of the brain. While Lekku are not prehensile like an animal tail, they can be moved in some basic movements to indicate feelings, such as tips crossed mean "I love you". Skin pigment ranges in various shades of blue, green, white, orange, pink, purple, yellow, and in some rare cases, red. Many Twi'lek females are sold off to slavers or similar buyers for their graceful and beautiful nature, making excellent dancers, serving girls or much darker things, but it is not uncommon to find them in such positions as pilots, mechanics, doctors, and even Jedi or Sith.

Some more about Jolene

Jolene lives in an alternate timeline from one that everyone knows. A timeline where the Galactic Empire has never risen, Emperor Palpatine has never come to power, but the still standing Republic still struggles to find peace amongst other systems of the former Confederacy of Independent Systems (CIS), now known as the Federation of Aligned Systems (FAS). The short history begins during the events toward the end of the Clone Wars as Mace Windu confronts Chancellor Palpatine, but in a twist of fate he does not hesitate to strike the Chancellor down, thus beginning a new path for the galaxy. While the Republic still stands and the Jedi are still whole, they are viewed as corrupt and unjust in the eyes of the Federation. The conflict has continued to brew since the end of the Clone Wars, though many truces have been forged over the decades, but always strained.

Jolene is a grey Jedi, walking a line between light and dark, but never swaying. She is very well trained and is a formidable foe for anyone that crosses her. While she may not be quite as good as one of the greats like Anakin Skywalker or Darth Reven, she can certainly handle herself as well as any other Jedi. She sometimes lets her anger and emotions get the better of her, coming off as a bit of a hothead when something is really not going her way, but she is able to keep control over her emotions and not let them rule her destiny. Though she will never be granted the rank of Master, she still fights for the Republic and their ideals and hopes one day to convince the Federation to rejoin the Republic.
