Honest review of working with the artist

We had discussed then doing a full body with background for the trade they had sent. At first it seemed okay but they stated that they were gonna work on it asap then claimed to wait on their husband to play the sims. Yellow flag going off in the back of my mind but I decided to give them a chance.



Keep in mind that this trade is indeed worth over 1.5 nons.  At first everything went well and seemed okay. Up until they accepted the trade and I had asked them for an update on how the art was going a few days later.  Roughly a week or so goes by with no contact, no updates, nada. But as soon as I message this artist and ask for an update,

They then proceeded to lose their absolute mind on me and have a phsycotic manic meltdown. They offered to send the pets back, to which they haven't. They even offered 1000 c$ to which they haven't nor does it cover either of the pets they stole from me nor the value of their art that they offered. To which they then back tracked everything and straight refused either.

They proceeded to make claims, to which include but not limited to, that I was triggering them, bullying then into a conversation and harassing them to which I was only asking for a simple update, not to mention they had sent an unsolicited full face photo of themselves, spamming and blowing up my notifications, and making it seem like the client is the worst kind of person ever. If anyone was harassing, it was the artist to the client. To this day they refuse to contact me or even make an effort on the art. They couldn't give me a straight answer period.

They have said that they were professional yet have told me that they needed to "stop venting to customers" and that they were "tired of being called a scammer."


I've tried to reason with them but it seems that they just spiraled downward screaming and yelling to, "Let the adults handle it" I'm sorry but by judging from that unsolicited face photo you had sent me, you are the adult just as well as I am. If the unstablity is past the point where you snap and have a meltdown over a client asking for a simple update, perhaps you shouldn't be taking commissions in general.

Now you may think asking for an update 4 days later is unreasonable,  it's honestly not. That is very reasonable if the artist hasn't communicated with the client period in that allotted time frame.


Please do not believe the positive reviews they have showcased on their art shop here.

As much as I dislike leaving negative reviews on other artists I would just like to bring awareness to other potential customers as this little fiasco they had was very recent with it happening just last week of writing this. The "artist" was extremely unprofessional and their behavior was uncalled for. Clients should not receive the brute end of the artist's meltdown just for asking for an update despite a few days passing by.

Point blank, they accepted the trade and took the payment but did not produce the final product. Mods have been contacted about this. Was told to wait til 02/12/25 despite me voicing my concerns about them not reaching out to me. It is 02/08/25 and still no contact. But user has not been online on cs since yet they are active on discord.
