So, not too sure what to put here. And don't worry too much, it's nothing bad. Much more going to be just a stream of consciousness sort of thing.

As the title implies, I just got back home from my first furry con, Eurofurence in Hamburg. And it all honestly still feels like a dream. Like none of it really happened, even though the pictures I took, the merch I bought and the sad state of my wallet all prove otherwise.

I'd always thought that being a furry would remain something online only for me. I loved meeting and chatting with folks, both on this site and others. Or, most frequently, watching from the sidelines.

And I'd thought that was all it would ever be, at least for me.

I cannot thank my friends enough for finally making me get off my lazy butt and convince me to give it a shot. The whole experience was better than my wildest dreams could ever hope for. Everyone was so friendly and nice. Watching folk walk around fully dressed up in fursuits like it was the most common thing in the world felt so surreal, And I don't think there are enough words in the english language to properly describe how much I loved every moment of it. Somehow, it felt like I was finally home.

Now, my biggest regret now is that I did not attend one sooner. If you were there, whether we even interacted at all or not, thank you. From the bottom of my heart, thank you so much for just being there and being part of this.
