so, i have commissions open! i've been trying to take more commissions, because it's been a while since i've done them regularly, and i really need to be taking more work in order to cover my monthly bills. i'm afraid i haven't been particularly clear in HOW i take commissions, so here's a little info.

HOW TO CONTACT ME:
if you want to commission me, you can message me using the notes system here on FA. (i only learned how to use it recently, but i do definitely know how to check my notes now!) you can also just send me an email at my email address, charliemccoydonovann@gmail.com, and i will probably see it and reply much faster that way. when you message me, let me know what it is you want me to draw, if you have any references or not, and whether or not you need it done within a specific time frame. when i get back to you, i'll let you know if i can draw it for you or not.

PRICES AND DISCOUNTS:
i have prices for a few specific things listed on my commissions page here on FA, but most of those prices are negotiable. if you have a character that i think is really cool looking, or a concept that i think would be really fun to draw, i might give you a discount. if you have a lot of followers and want to promo me, i'll also give you a discount for that. if you know me personally, i might give you a discount as well. however, if your concept is really difficult or complicated, i will probably charge the full price. i also don't have prices listed for EVERYTHING i could possibly draw, so if what you want isn't covered by the prices i have listed, please do message me anyway to tell me what you want, and i can work out a price with you!

PAYMENT:
i take payment through paypal invoices, which means i send an invoice to your email using paypal and you can pay it either with your own paypal account, or with a credit card or debit card or whatever you have. i can also take payment through ko-fi, if that's easier for you, but for the most part, i prefer to use paypal because it's easier to keep track of.

TIME TO COMPLETION:
once i've accepted your commission and you've paid for it, it usually takes me anywhere from 3 days to 2 weeks to finish something, based on how complex it is. i usually send sketches or WIPs once or twice during the process to make sure you like how the art is turning out, but if you want specific kinds of updates or on a specific schedule, you'll need to let me know. i'll also try to update you if there are any delays, and will always update if something takes longer than two weeks.

FURTHER INFORMATION:
if you need more specific information about commissions, i do have the legal-type stuff available on my neocities website on either the commissions page or on the terms of service page. basically, i keep the copyright for anything i draw unless we negotiate otherwise and you pay for the copyright, just so that i keep the right to display my work in portfolios and such.

LIKES/DISLIKES:
i made a quick journal with my likes/dislikes/etc for drawing & commissions, which you can find here! these will influence whether or not i'll give you a discount, and they also tend to affect how quickly i'll get things done, since i'm always faster to work on something i'm excited about.
