In the dark and foreboding landscapes, stood a tower.
Like most towers, this one stood tall; quite tall, in fact, as the lord that had ordered it built was infamous for his massive and fragile ego. He would not allow any structure built in his name to be anything less than the biggest or most fancy his deep pockets could allow. And, as there was only so much that could be done to make towers 'fancy', the workers contracted went with 'big'.
Not that it served much in the way of a purpose. The whole structure was built solely for the sake of reminding the peasantry that the land they called home was owned by him, and they were only allowed to live there by his 'mercy' and 'kindness'. No one was happy to see it looming on the horizon, given these implications, but so few were willing to say anything about it, and even fewer willing to act on those feelings.
The night brought no relief to the sight of the damnable tower. So massive was it, that even the starry sky was blotted out on a night of a waning gibbous. The lord's ego still shoving itself to the forefront of the lives who called his land home.
It made it all the more obvious when something else joined the tower's shadow.
“Keeheehee,” the keening sound of someone's high pitched laughter rang through the night like an off-key bell. The second shadow wound itself around the massive tower as the faint light slowly revealed features within it. A mixture of wolf, bat, and what several swore was a bit of dragon, the beast was actually taller than a tower that had no equal outside of the lord's own sprawling palace. Sharp teeth gleamed in the moonlight, a pair fangs just barely standing out among them. Wings fluttered idly, their size sending hurricane force gusts with each slight movement through the landscape and causing ancient trees to creak and bend. Eyes, wild and a faint glow kindling in them like embers, looked the tower up and down like they were observing prey.
“Isn't this thing an eyesore?” A voice, slightly high pitched and with an edge of frayed sanity to it, boomed out from the beast, followed by another laugh. “Ugliest thing I've seen since the one who sired me.”
One of the creature's forepaws grasped at the tower; not quite large enough to wrap all the way around it, but big enough it could get a grip. “Well, I'm tired of looking at it now.” Just like that, the tower was torn off its foundations, then idly chucked away. It slammed into the side of a mountain, crumbling into rubble that mixed with the landslide the impact caused.
More laughter followed the display, then the tremors that came from something so massive walking as the wolf-bat-dragon thing slunk away into the night. Leaving only the ruins of the tower and immense paw print craters in its wake.

So, this is another new character of mine; not an adopt, this time, but based on a sprite from Pokemon Infinite Fusion. This one in particular: https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/gqpa.....swoqn&dl=0
Anyway, this is Vilka, a Midnight Lycanroc/Noivern hybrid. Who knew mixing two of my favorite pokemon would result in something that looks this cool? She's from the same setting as my Sneasler, Salaica, and my other two hybrids, Lux and Hati. If you couldn't tell by the snippet, she's a troublemaking gremlin who exists to cause as many problems as possible. There's more to her personality, but that requires delving a lot further into her history than can be easily summarized, so let's stick with that for now.
