Here we have the redesign of Knuckles the Echidna.

Bio of the redesigned character:
Other than being a faithful guardian of Master Emerald, he enjoys the company of Sonic. Although still gullible, because Dr. Robotnik (or Dr. Eggman if you prefer) always tricks him and it causes him to have some moments of rivalry between him and Sonic. His superhuman strength that shows in his ability to lift rocks and climb through the mountains without any equipment is often the thing that Knux likes to brag about. Sometimes, living up to his words of his theme "Unlike Sonic I don't chuckle, I'd rather flex my muscles", he tends to show off his gains sometimes to his friends and sometimes to others, for example to impress the ladies (back in the old days, he was shy towards the girls, but he eventually got out of the comfort zone and went through many changes that caused him to gain more self-confidence and his well built physique)
Despite some of his flaws in his character, like naivete and short temper, he's still respected by Sonic and company as the "muscle" of the team.
