Sometimes ponies just don't grow up right. They turn out terrible, mean, and uncaring, when you had such high hopes for them. Celestia finds someone she loves dearly had become a monster in his own way, and she needs to help him find a worthy path for his life. How does she do it? Re-raising him, of course.
Truthfully I've had this written for a while. I love it, the people I've show love it. I'm just frustrated. I can't concentrate and I want something nice to read that isn't my own work. I can't find anyone to commission, let alone someone who meets my tastes. But that's neither here nor there. Please enjoy.

This entire story was heartwarming, touching, and flat out adorable. You not only did a wonderful job of developing Blueblood's character, but your pacing on it was impeccable. It's not too often that I find myself smiling so much while reading a story.
Thank you for writing this. I can't wait to see what else you write up in the future.

My apologies for being so late to comment, but I simply had to reread this multiple times.
Everything about this story is fantastic. The humour and banter between Celestia and Blueblood wins quite a number of chuckles and really helps with the lighthearted tone, besides from all the babying.
But to offset that and provide weight to the story your emotional scenes are beautiful and probably my favourite parts to the story. The way you have interpreted what was such a one dimensional character and expanded upon him was fantastic. Both Blueblood and Celestia were exceptionally well written. You really feel the connection between them and how it strengthens as each of them progress through their arcs.
Then there is all the small details. The removal of Blueblood's name from the first section to build mystery, the changing from formal to informal dialect and lexicons as the characters mindset and environment change, the way Blueblood is willing to dock a workers pay at the start but by the end is willing to hire those his parents reject. There is just too much to count, but its what takes this tale from a great one to one of my all time favourites.
All I can say is thank you. Thank you for this piece and all your hard work. It may not mean much, but I really love it all. You may hate reading your own work but I certainly do not. You've become one my idols. I'm not conflicted about that.

I've said it before, but you're flat out my favorite diaperpone author. You're truly a master of prose, and it's always a pleasure to read what you write. This story is no different. I love every word of every sentence. It's a wonderful work that I love to read over and over again. I'm so glad you've decided to share this with all of us. It truly is a heartwarming masterpiece.
