a medieval twist on two characters, Pandora and Marcus. I tend to come up with stories between scenes like this I get freedom with. Here's the one I came up for this one;

Pandora, in this canon, is now a ruler as a duchess, her duke father dying, leaving no other heir. Not wanting to be confined to her estate all day, she had often wandered out seeking her own adventure. But this time she got in a little too deep, both literally and figuratively. The southern swamps have been plagued with a curse of a deer bandit fleeing his execution, falling victim to the swamp. With his life and his dying breath, he cursed the swamps, and the skeletons of the deer he stole now take any life they can lay their muddy hands on...
However, because of the circumstance, the king of the land has sent emmisaries to check up on the new Duchess Pandora to guide her. One of the rangers that attends is Marcus, who set out after her once they learned she was not home. Which then led to this fight scene.
