Through the trials and tribulations of creative writing, the best of us often hit a wall. To some, it is known as writer's block. But, just as any good story has something just under the surface, so, too, does writer's block.
Sometimes it's procratination and the guilt that comes with it. You want to create something, but you don't want to or can't at the same time. Then, when you realize you've wasted the day and got nothing you think is valuable done, you feel worse and want to give up.
Other times, we worry about others opinions. It's different for every artist. Do you worry about others seeing the point? Do they get the meaning, no matter how simple or subtle you tried to make it? Will your story be loved by them? Will it be good enough?
Once, a long time ago now, I played a game called The World ends with You. Anyone who's played a Kingdom Hearts game knows one of the morals they shove down your throat is that there is no you without someone else. But The World ends with You said it in a much better way. It made the very notion of you being unable to do anything on your own not just an important part of the story, but the gameplay. In the end of the original conflict, your character and his best friend seem to win, but only one of you can take the all-important prize. That's what real life is, isn't it? You must help others to help yourself, and in the end, only one of you gets the long end of the stick.
Except, this is real life. The real world is a lot more malleable than we give it credit for. This story? This is my prize. This is the fruits of my labor, of being a good friend for Arby. The wonderful, warm feeling of making someone smile, of seeing them grow and become stronger, and I get this story to prove it. This story I will show you, and will wear like a badge (metaphorically), all too happy to know I made someone happy
I want you to enjoy this. But be sure to decide for yourself if you like it. ^_^

oooh oooh! Played that game myself :P! Very trippy game, but also really fun ^^ kinda wish the ending was a bit better though : / (spoiler warning) just to go through it all, get shot, and end up right back where you started, the overall story was fine and all, but I felt the main char got too screwed over for what everyone else did X/ personally think he was better off ruling the city himself : /
