Hello! I am the primary admin for this group now and I hope to put a positive vibe out into the community here. I've only been referring to myself as furry for a little over two years and I love the creativity that is present in the community. I was mostly introduced to the fandom through Second Life and e621. I'll admit for a while, I wasn't sure if the fandom was for me. Eventually, I made friends and found a safe haven here on FA for clean art. I tended to follow many artists that had this group icon on their profile and I was proud to put it on mine. I couldn't help but notice that the group had remained dormant for quite some time and there were many artists that I'd watched over the past year who had changed. Some of these artists had to resort to drawing sexual-themed artwork, which they reluctantly did, just to make ends meet. For those specific artists, it made me a bit sad and annoyed. So, I decided to try helping in a more direct way. Now I'm here hoping to encourage those that would like to keep their work clean as they earn a living and improve as an artist! I hope I do an okay job!

Hey there! ^^

My name’s Fixion (pronounce it like fiction). I’ve been around for a little while. I officially became a furry sometime in 2010. It was actually my fascination with werewolves at the time that led me to DeviantArt that led me to the fandom. Eventually, that led me to fursuit videos on YouTube, which, oddly enough, I wasn’t weirded out by these people running around in animal costumes, rather I wanted to be a part of it. I would say that it was the fursuits that really pushed me head-first into the fandom. That dream will soon be realized. In terms of art, I started out as a writer, making short stories. I really couldn’t draw at all, so literature was the only way I could creatively express myself. Late in 2014, I decided to get a drawing tablet to try drawing digital art; it was the best decision I have ever made. I’d say, if you want to draw art but don’t think you have the talent to do so, don’t sell yourself short like that. Give it a try; you can only get better!

Anyway, for years now, I’ve been a sort of quiet advocate for clean art, refusing to Watch anybody here on FA or follow anyone on Twitter who posts NSFW content. I focus my art, for the most part, on much more emotional, dark, sometimes angry contexts; my literature changed a lot too over the years, dealing with much more serious subject matters than what it used to (I guess this is what happens when you spend your teenage years listening to unhealthy amounts of My Chemical Romance). I’m a full believer that clean art can be as moving, thought provoking, passionate, and as powerful as its explicit counter-part. I’m hoping we can make a positive impact both within the fandom, and with our outward projected image as well!

hello clean artist lovers, I am midknightfox though I go by the name of Neihl or Tarlo. I'm a 22 year old male from the Netherlands and I love to draw, write or roleplay (no yiff, obviously). I became an admin of this group in order to bring you all the best clean artists and art and help spread he clean side of the fandom bit by piece. We hope to revitalize this group in the coming year with clean art, clean artists, and inspire more people to think outside the box in regards to artwork. There will be a reworking of guidelines for members, artists, events, and submissions here. We hope to grow as a group! Feel free to share this group with your friends and support us by putting it on your profile page. We will be slowly working on this over the holidays, but things will kick into gear in the New Year.
