Ya know when you admire someone but are too shy to say it?

Well, that's me with, like, everybody.
With a few choice individuals in mind. But I'm always too nervous and anxiety-ridden to make a move to create/strengthen bonds and I feel like I'm missing out on what could be really great potential friendships and it tears me up inside. It just feels like whenever I do make an effort I just end up letting people down...
Oh well... just getting stuff off my chest.
*slinks away in shame*

A quick "I really like your work", comments, perhaps asking if they'd like to speak more, and that's it. After all, the worst thing that can happen is they say "no".
I'm super shy in general, so talking to just about anyone can be hard. But trying to talk to a person you really admire is MUCH worse!
Afraid to come off as some weirdo fan or something. lol Or just not knowing what to say.
Being shy/introverted is hard X/
(typos! >.< )
For instance, I know I'm totally impressive and intimidating, but you shouldn't feel shy sayin' hello! I love makin' friends. I'm a totally awesome person that way.
Orrrrrrr....
You just bottle it all up till pop and BLARRGGGHHH! your awesome all overz everyone.
That graphic sentence was designed to make you chorkle lightly and let you know we are all approachable and friendly.
Don't be afraid to interact with folks.
Although on that note, my skype is Kaaziel if you would ever like to talk! C: I would love to get to know you better.
bits of compliment until that becomes easy, and then you gradually
progress in social interaction, kinda like leveling up a skill-tree
in an RPG — You start with telling a stranger you like their hair
or how their outfit looks, and then work your way towards stuff like
"you mean the world to me and I don't know what I would do without
you; please, never stop being you".
I'm not a complete specialist on the topic, not even a people's person, but I think the Internet allows an easier way to express your opinion and your thoughts... I think of it this way: it is easier to write a meaningful sentence than saying it face to face (That sounded a lot better inside my head, I swear).
All I can say is that you are not alone. I think most of us have felt that way sometime, so there is no shame in saying so. People can be intimidating. But be sure that every watch, every comment, every shout, and even every fave is a big step towards a nice friendship: it means much more than a plain "I like your art".
BUT at this same time there are a lot of nice people out there who are more than willing to have a nice conversation with ya. :)
But seriously, I know I like always say this but you're really awesome and we should talk more. *flails awkwardly* fffffrrrriiiieeeendddd
especially if they're popular artists, being known for who you are instead of your kinks or just being pestered for art has to be rly nice
And I think a lot of people do too? Even the artists I look up to like they're some higher deity, I guess the most important thing is to just be Yourself and not force anything?
Besides EH You're a pretty amazing artist Yourself, and You're genuinely nice and likable, I don't think anyone could possibly have a negative reaction if You approach them ;v;
